Platform Engineer Intern

Performed data analysis to help improve emulation performance. Developed systems to improve emulation inefficiency identification. Returning in May to August 2022.

SoC Pre-Silicon Validation Intern

Validated at the SoC level in the Xeon Performance Group. Ran simulation and emulation tests to find possible bugs and helping with debugging when needed. Modified emulation tests to enable functionality with new models and increase coverage. Programmed UNIX scripts to make running emulation tests easier to learn and more user friendly.

Electrical Engineer

Evaluated RF communication systems for enabling first person view on the plane. Researching battery options in order to determine the most light-weight yet power efficient systems.

Webmaster

Maintained the website with correct information about the chapter. Remodeled the website to be more user friendly and uniform. Began moving over chapter attendance tracking and events calendar to the website for a more centralized access point.

Lecturer & Teaching Assistant

Working to make data science accessible to all students at Cornell. Teaching assistant for INFO 1998: Introduction to Machine Learning and Data Science for Python. Have given lectures on data visualizations, classification models, unsupervised learning, and more.

Software Engineer

An interdisciplinary student team that designs, builds, and tests a search and rescue unmanned aerial system. Added a trigger wire to a camera to allow for remote triggering for taking images. Lead the test of wifi communication between the ground server and plane system. Created an algorithm to account for roll and pitch when calculating latitude and longitude of a captured.​

Member

Learning about various technologies and electrical engineering practices such as soldering and etching circuit boards. Designed and built payloads to be launched using a high altitude balloon. Earned technician class license for ham radio operations.

Electrical Subteam Lead

Ran interviews and deliberations during recruitment season. Created and revised timelines to keep the rest of the team updated on project statuses. Developed a new circuit board design process to work around the current silicon shortage.

Education Subteam Co-Lead and Course Manager

Course manager for INFO 1998: Introduction to Machine Learning and Data Science. Aided in redesigning course materials based on feedback from previous semesters and course aims. Presenting lectures throughout the semesters on varying topics. Organized logistics of the course such as grading, feedback forms, deadlines, rubrics, etc.

President

Planned and led weekly chapter meetings on varying logistical information and fun topics. Led weekly Executive Board meetings to check-in on tasks and answer any questions. Communicated with and submitted forms to the national organization.
